From pitot readings to a defensible water supply curve

A hydrant flow test is twenty minutes of field work and, too often, an evening of spreadsheet work: convert pitot readings, correct the coefficients, plot the supply curve on N1.85 paper, and figure out available flow at the residual pressure your sprinkler design actually needs.

FP Engine's Flow Test module does the arithmetic the moment the readings go in: static, residual, and pitot pressures become a graphed N1.85 water supply curve with available flow at your chosen residual — the number a sprinkler designer or fire flow analysis actually consumes. Tests are recorded per location with date and conditions, so when someone asks whether the water supply data is current, the answer is a lookup instead of an excavation.

Field reports are shareable as-is — clean enough to hand to a designer, an AHJ, or a client without retyping anything.
